Katy Tur

 

Katherine Bear Tur (born October 26th, 1983) is an American author and broadcast journalist who is a correspondent for NBC News. Tur is anchor on MSNBC Reports. She has hosted Katy Tur Reports since 2021. She has reported on the NBC news platforms Early Today and Today, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press on WNBC-TV, MSNBC and The Weather Channel.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tur is the daughter of Marika Gerrard and Zoey Tur. She graduated from Brentwood School (2001) and University of California Santa Barbara (2005), with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in philosophy. She's of Jewish descendance.
